Guitar and bass workshops at Ginger Music CompanyTaking your first steps on the guitar or bass? Or have you learned a few tricks and now want to get it together with some other budding musicians and play some sweet music? Well, we've just the thing for you: we're running regular guitar and bass workshops here at our purpose-built studio in Gateshead, with great music leaders to bring you up to scratch - pronto!
We'll be covering warm ups and avoiding injury, basic techniques to get your fingers moving, and the nuts and bolts of playing with other musicians; to building up to performances of well-known songs arranged for guitar and bass group, via gear tips, the realities of playing in a band and performing solo and all manner of improv. games, exercises and opportunities to let the creative juices flow.
Sessions cost £5 per student per session (every Wednesday) and commence on 25th November 09.
